FAQ

What is the difference between Remy and Virgin Hair?

Most, if not all, human hair sold through beauty supply stores are non-cuticle hair which means that it is not actually Remy. This means the cuticle has been stripped with an acid bath and sometimes even mixed with animal hair, synthetic fibers or fabric. In addition, the hair is coated with silicone which causes the hair to lose its sheen after several washes. When hair is not cuticle-correct, consumers suffer from extensive matting, tangling and shedding.

Virgin Hair is unprocessed and has not been chemically treated or manipulated in anyway. Unprocessed hair leaves the cuticles damage free and intact for more durability!
