More than just a hair stylist, Ms. Krystal Towner is a hair visionary. Krystal, better known as Krissy by friends and clients, believes that all women are created beautiful, but some are blessed with the gift of enhancing that natural beauty. From a young age Krissy began her love affair with hair due the lack of options that were afforded to many women of color in Flint, Michigan. Deciding to further her passion from just a hobby to a career, Ms. Towner completed her cosmetology education and started her first professional endeavors at JC Penney Salon, where she was a master stylist. As Krystal began to gain more technical knowledge her hair fetish really began to blossom. Having the need to experiment with different hair textures and desiring to help clients find the right style for every individual at an affordable price, Krissy set out to revolutionize the weave game with her own line of products. Established in October of 2012, Krystal wanted to help women all around the world enhance their natural beauty and develop a Hair Fetish of their own. Both Krystal and the Hair Fetish line allows any woman to find high quality, long-lasting hair, with a celebrity finished look. In addition, Krystal wants to further her own education to become an Instructor, so that she can later assist the new generation to help evolve the weave industry to new platforms.
More than just, the Co-Owner of Unique Touch Salon (Biloxi, MS), MS Gulf Coast Hair Show Winner & Participant, Fashion Show Stylist, and Photo Shoot Stylist; Ms. Krystal Towner is the proud mother of her beautiful daughter, Ms. Taylor. Feeling blessed with having a great Family, amazing Co-Owners of Unique Touch Salon; Krissy also feels that God has given her gift of having some pretty phenomenal high end clientele.
